Farm to Fork Experience

At Kelly's Kitchen, we provide a total farm to fork experience along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way and the Great Western Greenway. All of our food is sourced locally, in fact it couldn't get more local as our main suppliers is our families Artisan Butchers 'Kelly's of Newport' located right next door!  We are proud to plate up dishes which include top quality meats; tasty sausages, rashers, Kelly’s White Pudding and award winning Putog – along with Mayo reared beef  and lamb, all sourced from local farmers.

Our pretty day time café has a prime spot on the main street of Newport and outside we cater for al-fresco dining with table and chairs on the footpath, one of the most sought after spot along the Greenway to stop for refreshments when the weather is good.  Inside, the country style feel is warm and welcoming from our team of friendly staff.

Famous for our Award-Winning Irish Breakfast, we guarantee they will set you up for the day!

On the menu; expect a plateful of Kelly of Newport home cured bacon and homemade puddings and sausages, cooked to perfection. 

 

If you’re in the mood for something lighter –try our hearty bowl of Oatmeal Porridge with seasonal fruit & a sprinkle of cinnamon or a freshly baked scone with jam & cream.

 

Lunchtime Treat

Served from noon, our lunch menu includes a selection of the chef’s specials, the soup of the day, several main courses, and the Award Winning pudding is not forgotten for lunch with our chef testing your taste buds with a selection of different dishes from the Black goat to the best of both served with freshly prepared salad. Fish lovers will enjoy the Achill Island Seafood chowder, award winning in our eyes or the fish & fries. All our dishes provide a true taste of the Wild Atlantic Way. A selection of light bites like sandwiches, salads and the quiche of the day are also available all day.

Because our meat comes from just next door, our menu is quite flexible and the Chefs specials change with the seasons.  This is a bonus also, as if there is something you really fancy, just ask and we are happy to try to accommodate your request. 

Dietary requirements are also taken into account – again all you have to do is ask. 

Sweet Treats and Homemade Pastries 

Our baker knows the business of pleasing those of you with a sweet tooth! The open counter at the rear of our café is filled daily with freshly baked homemade goodies to fill the spot or to complement your freshly made cuppa. With scones, cakes, tarts and lots of special little treats we are sure you will find something that tempts you or simply tickles your fancy...

To go with all the lovely food, you can enjoy a fine cup of fresh coffee from the coffee list, Irish tea and speciality teas, or choose from the range of soft drinks.
