The Beginning...

Shauna Kelly, daughter of renowned Newport butcher Sean Kelly, opened Kelly’s Kitchen in 2012.

Kelly's Kitchen

Kelly’s Kitchen is exactly the sort of cosy, bustling café that locals love and visitors dream of finding on holiday. A member of Good Food Ireland and recommended by the likes of Georgina Campbell and John & Sally McKenna, Shauna is certainly following in her father Seán’s footsteps.

Our ingredients

The menu is rich with quality meat from Kelly’s Butchers next door. All the delicious homemade sausages, rashers, Kelly’s Black, White and Vegetarian Puddings and the award winning Putóg along with local beef and lamb are from the family shop. Shauna and chef Paul Moran have created recipes like the famous ‘Black Goat’ featuring Kelly’s Black Pudding and goats cheese. Vegetarians and fish lovers are well catered for, and the specials menu changes daily.

Sweet Treats

Home baked cakes, tarts, scones and bread are all on offer and are made fresh daily by Kelly’s Kitchen’s in-house baker. All the sandwiches, hot dishes, desserts, teas and coffees are available for take away for walkers and cyclists to enjoy on the Greenway.

A touch of Home

It’s a real family enterprise with mum Kathleen often helping out behind the scenes with Shauna front of house. They make their own chutneys and relishes, home baking is fresh every day and they know the importance of a good cup of tea or Lavazza coffee too.
